My days back home in Maryland are coming to a close, as I prepare to
return to Addis next Tuesday, June 3rd! Time has really flown
by….however….

I am at 100% support! Praise the Lord! Thank you all for your generous
support! If you would still like to give, you definitely can, it is
always good to have a little extra in my account.

So, just a reminder too that starting June 1st, I will no longer use
this Google Group, but will be switching to my website, which is

I have noticed that some people have already subscribed to receive
email from that website, that is definitely the BEST way to stay on
top of what is happening…or you can just visit the site to check for
updates, too….

Hi all,

Last year when I started this journey to go to Ethiopia, I wanted to find a media that would convey well my thoughts and experiences while in Addis…and thought that this google group would be a good thing…

At least a good thing to try…

While I think it has been helpful, I am switching over to something a little more user-friendly, courtesy of my friend Dustin Pfeifer, who has helped me to create a WordPress blog/website…

So what does that mean? Will you still be able to see posts? What will happen to my membership here? Well…let me tell you…!

Starting June 1st, this group will cease to exist, and I will only be checking my website from now on…which, by the way, is:

www.ontheroadinaddis.com

The name was a no-brainer…!

What is cool about having this site, is that I can post pics, video, links, etc, and it is very streamlined….PLUS, it is easy to post comments! That was a more difficult thing in this google reader.

So, what does that mean for you all? Well, you won’t receive any more updates on this google site, so if you would like to stay in touch with the work I am doing in the project, here are a couple of options…(note I cannot subscribe you myself, FYI…)

1. I will post on the website, so you can check that periodically…

2. You can subscribe via RSS feed (Google Reader, or some other sort of feed-based info grabber…if you have no idea what I am talking about, skip to #3)

3. You can subscribe via email right on my site! Just plug it in, and you will be receive a confirmation email, confirm, and you are good to go! You will receive, by email, any sort of new posting I put on the site!

And thats it! I have some cool links on site, too….specifically check out freerice.com….it is addicting…in a good way…
